DNB -SS Gastroenterology programme began in year 2019.
Programme aims at providing a versatile three year residency programme to groom and train confident gastroenterologists for society.
During the three years of the programme DNB registrars go through vigorous training in GI wards, ICU and endoscopy lab.
Hospital houses a state of the art endoscopy lab with latest equiptment from basic gastroscopes to high end third space endoscopy setup.
It provides good exposure to all kinds of endoscopic procedures from upper and lower GI endoscopy to high end procedures like Cholangioscopy, APC, EUS, Manometry, & POEM.
Hospital has highest volume of endoscopic procedures (1200+ procedures per month ) in the region.
Apart from endoscopy there is good exposure of GI intervention radiology and Gastrosurgery in the hospitals IR lab and modular OTs.
Being a dedicated GI centre hospital provides great opportunity to learn and explore all divisions of GI sciences.
